There is a need for all Labour Party members who are interested in campaigning openly on Europe to be kept informed and engaged, regularly receiving up-to-date information to enable them to take part in debates, argue in meetings, write to newspapers and generally make the case for a progressive Europe.

Douglas Alexander MP, Minister for Europe opened the relaunch. Shortly afterwards a new campaign website was opened with an updated statement of LME's aims.

Following this relaunch, a programme of activities has been activated and LME hopes to use a mailing list in conjunction with the website as an active campaigning tool. LME will also provide support so that activists can set up new regional sections of LME.

In the meantime, to wet your appetite, the first three Activist Bulletins have been put on the LI website in the Members Area .
